Welcome to the City. The oppressive thumbs of Plutocrats bears down upon you, your friends, and everyone you love. But here's the deal, yeah? They hit you, and you hit 'em back harder. They may got the cops and the scabs, on their side, but they don't get ya licked yet. Because in the City, if the crappy food and poor conditions don't keep you alive, the SPITE will. 

In Steam+SPITE, you are not a chosen hero. You are an outlaw, a rabble-rouser, a ruffian. You survive not because you're strong, but because you’re too pissed off to die. The game is inspired by the real-world fight for labor rights and justice. It's basically Newsies, only with more violence and (depending on your table, I suppose) less singing.
